Il talk vuole tracciare un quadro sintetico del contesto storico dei congressi panafricanisti degli anni 50', esaminando in particolare le grandi questioni dibattute durante l'incontro delle menti più progressiste del continente africano. Verranno messe in risalto anche le divergenze di opinioni tra alcuni importanti leader della lotta panafricanista e anticoloniale. Ne parleremo con Mahougnon Venance Sinsin docente di Logica e di Epistemologia a Roma. Co-fondatore della Rekh’Seba Association (RSA), dove tiene un laboratorio di filosofia africana classica e contemporanea. Autore del libro: Uha - Aspects d'une philosophie du Retour.

The talk aims to provide a concise overview of the historical context of the Pan-Africanist congresses of the 1950s, exploring the major issues debated during the gathering of the most progressive minds on the African continent. It will also highlight the differences of opinion among some prominent leaders of the Pan-Africanist and anti-colonial struggle. We'll talk about it with Mahougnon Venance Sinsin, Teacher of Logic and Epistemology in Rome. Co-founder of the Rekh'Seba Association (RSA), where he holds a workshop on classical and contemporary African philosophy. Author of the book: Uha - Aspects d'une philosophie du Retour.
